From generation to regeneration
For centuries, mother-of-pearl has fascinated us with its unique properties. Used in ancient civilizations for its soothing and restorative properties, it was already recognized as a valuable ally for the skin.
From Japan, where it was incorporated into beauty rituals, to ancient Egypt, where it symbolized purity and renewal, mother-of-pearl has spanned the ages, reinventing itself without ever losing its power.
Today, Blue Skincare draws on this ancestral heritage to create modern skincare, where science sublimates tradition, to offer sensitive skin deep regeneration.
2023
Birth of Blue Skincare
The idea behind Blue Skincare was born from the shared vision and commitment of Joel and his family, united by a passion for innovation and a belief in the healing power of nature.
Gabriel, Emma and Lou are therefore naturally joining the MEGA BIOPHARMA adventure and team today. They have all committed to this challenge, which was initially a little crazy: a global and sustainable project, intended to become part of the health and wellness industry landscape, both in France and internationally.
After 3 years of development, the team is launching Blue Skincare® , an innovative dermocosmetics and nutricosmetics brand, with 3 expert ranges:
• XERO·NACRE – A range of skincare products specially designed for the most demanding skin: dry to very dry skin, prone to roughness and flaking, atopic and psoriatic-prone skin.
• NACRE ÉCLAT – A range of skincare products dedicated to radiance, hydration and protection of the face, for young and mature skin.
• PHYSIO NACRE – A range of skincare products enriched with BIONACRE® to protect and strengthen the skin. High-tolerance dermoprotective products, suitable for sensitive skin, offering gentle hydration for the body.
2009
Creation of MEGA BIOPHARMA
BLUE SKINCARE is a wholly owned subsidiary of MEGA BIOPHARMA, a group founded in 2009 by Joël Drai, whose vision was to harness the natural regenerative power of mother-of-pearl to create innovative medical and cosmetic solutions.
With experience in dental innovation and a passion for bringing biotechnology closer to concrete therapeutic applications, Joël created MEGA BIOPHARMA to develop cutting-edge treatments in the dental, orthopedic and dermatological fields, combining scientific rigor and a commitment to sustainable and nature-based healthcare.
