The mother-of-pearl we use comes from a responsible upcycling process.
Initially harvested by the pearl industry, the shells of Pinctada maxima (a pearl oyster with creamy white nacre) are then set aside.
Instead of throwing them away, we collect them to transform them into a valuable active ingredient, designed to repair and strengthen sensitive skin.
After years of research into the properties of different types of mother-of-pearl, we selected Pinctada maxima for its unique richness, natural strength, and beautiful light color. It is cultivated with respect for the environment and current regulations.
